Signing up for a course titled Project, Problem, and Design-Based Teaching, I must admit that the English teacher in me did not have the highest of expectations. Not because of the course, or program, or institution, but I simply had no idea how this approach to teaching would impact me as an English teacher. On one hand, I thought of the oversimplified project that I’ve done with students a million times, and on the other hand, my mind immediately jumped to STEM.
